What is 2.5d?

It's kinda like this:



I'm going to try to make it a little more- "exciting" than the original.

Also:

+ mp3 remixes of all the original midi's

+ save & loading

+ the game will be more difficult

+ possibly a boss rush

+ more playable characters

+ better graphics (my opinion)

+ a fork in the road
release date is unknown at this point.

if you read my post completely you would know its showing an example of 2.5d

This isn't actually that bad, you made your own sprites(I think ), and the gameplay in some areas are quite original.
You probably should note somewhere that you can "cliff hang"....oh and I found a cheat to beat the final boss...I simply stood on the higher the block behind him and kept shooting....you should probably fix that.

I'm looking forward to the re-make.

It is possible for something to be so bad it's very good.
For example:

I likle the idea of 2.5d, but seriously, it's 3d, people who just make a 3d game that doesn't really use depth in gameplay or uses it in a different way and call it something else fail. No offense to you. I'll try out your game soon.

lol it wasn't meant to be a serious game either.

and btw, the cliffhanging and the block thing
