Game Idea Pacland (working title)

I'm making a platform version of pacman. It won't be just a normal pacman but platform game there will be stuff like land mines and turret guns trying to destroy you. It's in 640x480 resolution and 16-bit colour for a retro look, runs smoothly.

I'm not sure how this is going to turn out, so tell me now if I should continue making it or not.

I don't really have an idea for a story, but it starts off the old retro blue look then becomes real. Some ideas I have are:
Pacman realises gaming technology is getting way better so he tries to catch up.
Pacman somehow went to another dimension where there is gravity.
Pacman discovers there are way more dots in the gravity realm then the topdown realm so he goes there to get them.
Pacman... idk.
Ghosts hid all of pacman's dots in the platform realm and he goes to get them back.

I need some more story detail.

Pacman turns gay so Ms. Pacman kicks him into Platform land.

lol, nearly there, it could have something to do with Ms. Pacman/Pacwoman... Thinking faces everyone.

Ms. Pacman goes on a holiday to platform land and hasn't come back yet, you learn she has been pacwomannapped by the ghosts.

pac in time for the snes was platformer pac-man so yeah

NAH the whole "Damsel in distress" thing is so cliche. Ur making a platform Pacman so do something a little crazier than that.

Idea:
Pacman learns that the ghosts have ditched trying to kill him and made their own empire in platform land so he goes to take it over.

And there could be secret areas that you have to conquer to completely finish the game, like a hole in the ground could lead to an underground level or a cave.

ghosts are tired of catching pacman so they build a summer house in platform land,inside there making a deminsion mixer,they mix pacamn from his level and is teleported to platform land

GOT IT

The ghosts migrated to platform land, same as what I said before. Pacman goes to take them over, so he asks his science teacher to make him a dimension mixer so he can go there where he finds that they're developing weapons that they are planning to use against him. So he takes over their ghost empire using their weapons (because they're obviously no dots there that make the ghosts vulnerable(so that way I don't have to figure out how to change the ghosts(YES)))

Now I need some names.

Pacman and the ghost empire
The adventure of a yellow ball with a mouth that goes into another dimension to kill ghosts which are making weapons of mass destruction that they are planning on using to destroy his home realm.

idea play through the first mario and throw in pac man and change the enemies or at least for the first level. then do it again with another platformer like sonic

That's already been done with several versions of pirated super mario bros games.
I actually have a copy of Super mario bros for the nes, only based on sonic!

You could just not have a story and just have it as a random game, I mean Tetris never had a story now did it?

yes it did tetris's story was simple but it was there your working to build the tas ma hal i think is the building? i don't know exactly but i know theres a story
